The Greenlandic Man is a performance for and about the Greenlandic man. It is about his dreams, loves, life, desires, sexuality, joys and sorrows. A performance that springs out of narrations from the real Greenlandic man.
It deals with the Greenlandic Man in 21st century. His identity and his relationship to women - Greenlandic and Danish women, to himself and his identity as a man in a world that is changing. With this performance we dig into what lies behind the myths and the prejudices to confront the image created by the media which many Greenlandic men nowadays are suppressed by. We wish to give the Greenlandic man a new horizon from which he can define himself and his societal role.
