Freeze Unplugged is a series of Greenlandic performances, each lasting approximately 30 minutes, designed for traditional theater stages as well as any other venue. The focus is entirely on the actor, without the need for large sets or numerous props — requiring only a wireless microphone and a few square meters or more of space to move freely.
The performances center on current and socially relevant themes, whether cultural, political, social, psychological, or what is stirring in society at the moment.
The format is the monologue; the content and performance style encompass song, movement, satire, and deep emotional intimacy. They are all works of new Greenlandic drama, written by the performers themselves.
