Experience Reumert Award winner and Greenlandic actor and playwright Aviana Steinbacher in this powerful, raw, and sensitive performance about a young Greenlandic woman’s life and her encounter with Denmark, love, racism, and her deep journey into herself and her culture. "I am proud of my survival, my consciousness, my spirituality, my understanding of nature, sila, and what lies between heaven and earth. I speak several languages, I am skilled at expressing myself through my body, and I can communicate without using words. I am gentleness and responsiveness; I am presence; I am in the moment; I am trusting of processes. I am patient, I am adaptable, I am Greenlander—and I am proud."
Aviana Steinbacher trained as an actress at the National Theatre of Greenland's acting school. In addition to her work with Theatre freezeproductions’... The Arctic Summit and Let's Talk About It also appeared in the youth series Salsa on DR.
